Pendekatan ini, yang direkomendasikan oleh vendor sebelumnya, menyebabkan lonjakan tajam pada nilai pH, ORP, dan FRC, sehingga meningkatkan risiko korosi tembaga akibat halogen dan produk sampingan hipoklorit. Pengelolaan volume bahan kimia yang begitu besar juga menimbulkan risiko keselamatan, konsumsi yang berlebihan, serta masalah lingkungan.<\/p><p>Meskipun dosisnya tinggi, frekuensi dan metode yang digunakan tidak efektif dalam menjaga pengendalian mikroba dalam jangka panjang. Superklorinasi menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan kimiawi tanpa mengatasi akar masalahnya, dan tidak adanya program biocida yang dioptimalkan membuat sistem rentan terhadap kontaminasi berulang serta
